Another Sympathy Card

Here is another sympathy card that I made back in November.

I know my pictures are not the best.  HOWEVER, I bought a new DSLR camera on New Years Eve Day.  It was something that I had wanted for a LONG time.  I am still taking a few classes to learn how to use it properly.  I am have so much fun!!  I have about 4 more pictures to share using my old point and shoot camera, and then you will get to see pictures that are bright and amazing!!  I know you can hardly wait :)

Birthday cards

Here are two birthday cards I made recently - the yellow one for my dear friend, Bonnie and the other one for my son's girlfriend (which sounds weird to say still). I forgot to rotate the photos before I downloaded them. Sorry. The pattern is from one of the CTMH books, but I forgot to look and see which one. I do love this card though, and will probably use it again. The stems are hand-sewn. It's the first time I have done something like that -- but I love how it turned out.

Birthday Card

Here is a birthday card I made for my bosses daughter. The flower stamp and sentiment are CTMH. The flower patterned paper is from a DCWV stack (I think) and the green polka dot paper is Bo Bunny.

OK, I'm for real this time! I think I am ready to 'go live' as they say, however, I still have some work to do. I just can't seem to figure out how to set up my header so it's a little more interesting. If someone has any advice for me, it would be greatly appreciated.

So I thought I'd start out with some things that I have done recently that I think turned out well. Hopefully you think so, too.

First, here's a birthday card that I made for a co-worker of mine.
